What does it look like? Where does it come from? Meditate on the following verses and thoughts.
His abundance is in you!
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Ephesians 4:28
Your job is a source for both you and for others.
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33
Jesus taught how the kingdom works. Read the parables and illustrations of Jesus until you get it.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
Luke 6:38
This verse isn’t only about money. It is about everything within you by the grace of God. Give what God has given you, and you will see increase in your life on every level.
Honour the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10
A transformed heart will cheerfully honour the Lord. This is not a religious duty, but a joyful cooperation with extending the kingdom to the world. Support ministries that have God’s heart for the world.
God’s heart is to bless you, heal you, redeem you and prosper you. He wants you to have an abundant life. God wants you to be prosperous spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and in relationships. He wants you to have more than enough to accomplish your purpose on this earth.
When your life is lived from your position of peace, joy, righteousness and love, giving will be a natural extension of who you are (and who He is!).
Seek how the Kingdom works.
Give from every area of your life, and honour God with the first fruits of your increase. Let the abundance of your heart flow toward God and others. Break the chains of fear, lack and the love of money!
Let the Giver live through you!
God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work…while you are enriched in everything for all liberality!
2 Corinthians 9:8, 11
