CHARIS MINUTES
Watch the video to hear Andrew’s full answer to the question, ‘How Do I Stay Confident When Circumstances Are Unchanged?’
How do we stay encouraged or assured in our hearts that the words God has given us remain true even when circumstances don’t seem to be changing or seem to contradict?
Paul said in 2nd Corinthians, chapter five, verse seven:
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
How Do I Stay Confident When Circumstances Are Unchanged You’re going to have to get to what you see with your heart is more real to you than what you see with your eyes.
This is something that very few people do, effectively. Most people are what the Bible calls ‘carnal’. They’re controlled by what they see, taste, hear, smell and feel. Their experience is to them more real than what the Scripture says.
The truth is that regardless of what your situation is like, whether this is in your family, your job, in your body, if you’re trying to believe for a healing and you don’t see it, you can literally get to a place to where what you believe is more real to you than what you see and what somebody tells you.
When it comes to healing, how do I stay confident when circumstances are unchanged?
Man, I could give you a bunch of examples in my own life, as well as other people I’ve ministered to that in the natural, everything looks bad, but you can get the Word of God, and we know faith will come by hearing. You can get to where you believe the Word of God more than you believe what you see and feel. That’s what the Bible calls walking by the spirit, walking by faith.
When you walk by faith, by the spirit, then if you can conceive it in your heart, you will eventually see it in your life. This is what Abraham did. He went around telling everybody, ‘I’m the father of many nations’ when he didn’t even have a child. He did that for 26 years before he had that physical child. He got to where that was more real to him than what he was seeing or not seeing in his own life.
So if you’re asking the question, ‘How Do I Stay Confident When Circumstances Are Unchanged?’ If you choose to meditate and think on God’s Word until it is so deeply rooted in your heart, you can get to where you walk confidently by faith.
