The key to faith and victory in the Christian life

Oct 19, 2021

The world might call it intuition or a sixth sense. Perhaps in the realm of human experience, there are such things. But in the realm of the Spirit-filled life, we are called into a far deeper communion in which the things of God can be revealed to us.

We have received the Spirit of God that we might know the things He has given us (1 Cor. 2:12).

Revelation knowledge is the key to faith and victory in the Christian life. It is the foundation for the overcoming life!

There are two kinds of knowledge in the world: natural knowledge and spiritual knowledge. Most of what we live by is natural; even Bible knowledge can be accumulated with no real impact on our lives.

We know what we believe with our minds, but many times, what we believe does not manifest the way we think it should.

The Spirit can reveal anything to our spirit, and that revelation becomes a part of us. Since we are one spirit with Him (1 Cor. 6:17), it is simply a matter of His Spirit quickening our spirits to the realities of our needs being met in Him.

Revelation knowledge is spiritual in nature and not easy to nail down. You know it when you know it. It goes beyond the intellect and the emotions into the realm of spiritual vision. It transcends human intellect and the tangible world of the visible.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:19

Revelation knowledge is the birthplace for true faith.

When we create the right environment for revelation knowledge by spending time in the Word and in prayer, praise and meditation, revelation will come. We will “see” healing. We will “see” our authority.

That which was mental will become spiritual, and the victorious life will become a reality.

Revelation knowledge will prompt our faith to proclaim what we know to be true. When we speak to our bodies, it won’t be a formula confession, but rather a powerful agreement with what we have received by revelation.

There is a difference between the doctrine of “by His stripes I am healed,” and the revelation of that same truth. One you can teach. The other you release through faith-filled words.

Only by revelation knowledge can we truly know the nature of God within us and all that He has deposited into our reborn spirits. Head knowledge is not enough.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
